Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between a locksmith and a hardware store?
A hardware store can duplicate common keys. A licensed locksmith can rekey and repair locks, program car keys, open safes, extract broken keys, and install commercial hardware.
Can you get a broken key out of my lock?
Yes. Broken key extraction is routine, and the lock usually keeps working. Don't try to push the piece back in with the other half — it drives it deeper.
Are you open 24 hours?
No. Shop hours are Monday–Friday 9:00–5:30. We keep a technician on call for emergency lockouts after hours, with an after-hours fee quoted before dispatch.
Do you offer warranties?
Yes. Warranties are available on hardware we sell and work we perform. Ask for the terms on your job.
Do you offer a law enforcement discount?
Yes. Active law enforcement officers receive a discount — just mention it when you call or come in.
Need a locksmith?
Call the shop, or send a request for non-emergency work and we'll call you back during business hours.
